15 oz can black beans – drained and rinsed
1 cup fresh cilantro – roughly chopped
1 cup salsa
Juice of one lime
2 chipotle peppers in adobo ( for less heat, remove seeds)
2 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
salt and pepper to taste
- Place all ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender and puree until smooth.
- Check for seasoning and add salt and pepper to taste.
