Root Beer Float


¾ cup root beer regular or diet

2 scoops of vanilla ice cream


Pour ½ cup root beer into a 16 ounce glass and spoon ice cream into the glass.  Top with remaining root beer.


Vanilla Milkshake



3 cups vanilla ice cream

½ tsp vanilla extract

1 cup milk

1 pasteurized egg, optional


Combine all ingredients in a blender container.  Blend until smooth.


Chocolate Milkshake

Use chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla.  Use ¼ cup chocolate syrup to ingredients.

Peach Milkshake

Add 1 (16 ounce) can drained peaches to ingredients in the blender.

Banana Milkshake

Add 1 large sliced banana to ingredients in the blender.

Strawberry Milkshake

Add 1 cup sliced strawberries to ingredients in the blender.

1 (6 ounce) can frozen grape juice concentrate

1 cup vanilla ice cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

10 ice cubes


Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

12 Cups Seedless Cubed Watermelon

2 Tbsp Honey

½ Cup Fresh Lime Juice

Watermelon Cubes for Garnish


In a blender, puree watermelon and honey in batches until smooth.  Set a fine mesh sieve over a large bowl and strain, pressing gently to squeeze out juice.  Discard pulp.

Put all ingredients into a pitcher and stir in lime juice.  Garnish each glass with a watermelon.  Serve ice cold.

Mint Tea Lemonade

1 Cup Sugar

8 Black Tea Bags

1 Bunch Mint, Rinsed

1 ½ Cups Fresh Lemon Juice

Mint Leaves for Garnish


Mix sugar and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan over medium heat.  Cook until sugar is dissolved.  Remove from the heat.

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium pot over high heat.  Add the tea bags and mint to the pot and turn off the heat.  Steep for 15 minutes then strain it into a large pitcher pressing solids before discarding them.

Add syrup, lemon juice and 4 cups of cold water to the tea.  Garnish each glass with mint leaves.

4 Cups Unsweetened Pineapple Juice

2 Cups Orange Juice

1 Lemon Juiced

1 Lime Juiced

2 Cups Seltzer

Pineapple Wedges for Garnish


Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher.  Garnish each glass with pineapple wedges.  Serve ice cold.

Berry Splash Refreshing




1 (0.13-oz.) package unsweetened cherry drink mix

6 cups white cranberry juice

1/4 cup sugar

Garnish: fresh mint sprigs or strawberry leaves


Stir together first 3 ingredients and 2 cups water in a large pitcher until sugar is dissolved. Cover and chill.

Lemonade Iced Tea



3 Cups Boiling Water

Fresh Mint

2 Large Luzianne Iced Tea Bags

1-2 Cups Sugar or 1 cup Splenda, if desired

4 Cups Cold Water

Lemonade Concentrate



Bring 3 cups water to a boil in a 2-qt. saucepan. Remove from heat, add tea bags, and stir in fresh mint. Cover and steep 10 minutes.

Remove and discard tea bags and mint. Stir in sugar until dissolved.

Pour tea into a 3-qt. container, and stir in 4 cups cold water and lemonade concentrate. Serve over ice.
